The Swiss Startup Factory is a company that accomplishes exactly what its name promises. It is an organization that searches the globe for startups in need of assistance and provides them with the information, advice and funding to get started. They offer skilled mentors and introduce the individuals in the startup to investors that have the ability to launch them further on their way to success. The company was established in 2014 by co-founders Mike Baur, Oliver Walzer and Max Meister. All three remain with the company today with Baur holding the title of Executive Chairman. Baur holds a MBA from the University of Rochester in New York and an Executive MBA from the University of Berne. For over two decades Baur worked for major corporations like Clariden Leu and UBS. He initially left the industry to work for himself financing startups on his own until partnering with Meister and Walzer to develop the Swiss Startup Factory. Today Baur continues to work with the organization while also employed as the deputy managing director of CTI.

Together they strive to reach the goal of aiding digital entrepeneurs around the world as they achieve success with the help of the accelerator program. The Swiss Startup Factory remains the leading independent and privately financed organization of its type in Switzerland. Any startup organization is invited to apply to the program through the Swiss Startup Factory website. Certain restrictions apply, the company focuses on digital startups and the team must be able to attend training workshops in Zurich during at least some of the program.

A Helping Hand in Adam Milstein

Born of Eva and Hillel Milstein. Adam grew up to become one of the most influential people around the world. At the age of 19, Milstein joined the military to serve the mandatory years of service required by the government. It was after serving in the 1973 Yom Kippur war that he was able to enrol in college and pursue his studies. Adam Milstein pursued an undergraduate degree at Technion University. He graduated in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Economics.

Together with his wife Gila, they moved to the United States of America. There, he pursued a master’s degree in business administration at the University of South California in Los Angeles. Upon completion, he landed an opportunity in the real estate industry that marked the start of a prosperous future. Later, he co-founded Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation. The primary goal of this foundation was to provide humanitarian services that included money to organizations that played a part in strengthening the Jewish people. The company operates under three principles.Active philanthropy- here, they dedicate not only funds but time to causes they believe in.

Life path impact- here, they continuously engage with the target group. The company also funds institutions in different phases in the development of their programs And by philanthropic synergy- this is achieved by associating and joining forces with other non-profit organizations. Through this synergy, Adam Milstein provides funds to these organizations for the well being of others.

Adam Milstein has also founded the Israeli-American Council. A council established to strengthen and preserve the cultural identity of their future generations. His philanthropy knows no bounds. Adam Milstein is also a managing partner at Hager Pacific. Hager Pacific is responsible for management of over 100 properties in the USA. Hager Pacific is estimated to be worth one billion dollars.He is also a co-founder of Sifriyat Pijama B’America. It is an engagement literacy program between the Hebrew and Jewish communities.
