These migrant refugees encounter many problems and challenges in the foreign countries they make their home. Some of these difficulties include mostly discrimination by the natives of these countries, and as a result, they get denied some of the basic human rights.

Therefore, organizations such as The National Network for Immigration and Refugee Rights have come up to protect the rights of these people access safe shelter, access to food, rights to safety, being accorded good healthcare, and their rights to security and peace.

The NNIRR was established in the years 1986 as an organization that fought for the rights of the many immigrant and refugee seeking asylum in the United States of America.

The team champions for the rights of these people to be treated as they try to adjust to their new found homes waiting for the situation back in their country of origin to normalize. The organization also works to bring about constitutional changes which would be a bit lenient to refugees and immigrant communities.

The National Network for Immigration and Refugee also extends a hand to these refugees by encompassing them through providing employment opportunities in their organization. This enables these refugees to be on the forefront in fighting for their rights.

In addition to being at the forefront in championing for their rights, they also become the ambassadors of the organization when attending forums that usually seek to solve their issues. At these forums, these refugees get the opportunity to voice most of their grievances and suggest ways they find as amicable solutions to their problems.

As a result of involving these refugees in their organization, NNIRR requires funds to enable them to pay and facilitate their expenses when they attend international forums. Read more: Jim Larkin | Twitter and Jim Larkin | Crunchbase

As such, they at times luck this funds and therefore require private entities to help support them. These private entities donate money that would also help these organizations to stay true to their course by avoiding the hustle needed in raising funds.

A good example of such a private entity is the Larkin and Lacy Frontera Fund that is worth $ 3.7 million. This fund was begun by Mike and Jim who had been unjustly jailed for investigating a Sheriff of Maricopa County.

The money that they used to start this fund was gained as a settlement fee after they had sued the county in the courts of appeal after their wrongful jailing by an inferior tribunal.

The court had ordered their arrest in the middle of the night and subpoenaed them to reveal the names of people who had had the opportunity to read their investigations on a panel that was investigating the Sheriff himself.
