In an interview with IdeaMensch, as well as in another interview with Forbes Magazine, Dr. Mark McKenna said that the idea for OVME came to him after he was working in the medical aesthetics industry for ten years. He realized that the botox industry did not have a streamlined process for getting botox treatments from a trusted provider. You had to go to individual doctors and plastic surgeons, and each one was different. With OVME, you can get an experience that is similar to Uber, only in a different industry.

Dr. Mark McKenna said that he made a lot of money in real estate, but that after Hurricane Katrina, he was left with nothing. He ended up starting Shapemed, which is a company that he eventually sold for a lot of money. He said that the decline of smoking in the United States is one trend that excites him. He also said that he reads a lot of books and that it helps him be a better entrepreneur.

José Auriemo Neto is a Brazilian executive who serves as the chief executive of JHSF participacoes SA, a real estate company that focuses on the development of both commercial and residential properties. Aside from serving as chairman of the company, José Auriemo Neto looks out for the company’s interests that range from public developments and hotels to prominent shopping malls such as the Ponta Negra shopping center and the Cidade Jardim shopping complex in Säo Paulo.

A graduate of the Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) University Engineering School, José Auriemo Neto joined JHSF participacoes SA in 1993. The executive founded the company’s services department in 1997 whose first project was building the parking lot of management firm, Parkbem. The project was so successful that in 1998 José Auriemo Neto secured rights to develop the firm’s first shopping complex. Jose Auriemo was in charge of the implementation and management of the Shopping Santa Cruz complex and was yet again successful.

Some of Jose Auriemo Neto’s most significant achievements include overseeing JHSF group’s first retail venture. The company signed exclusive partnership deals with Hermes, Jimmy Choo, and Pucci to open the luxury brands’ first outlets in Cidade Jardim shopping complex which is owned by JHSF. The group, later in 2012, also signed a partnership agreement with Valentino and launched the very first R.E.D Valentino stores in Brazil

Between 2006 and may 2014 Mr. Auriemo Neto served as the JHSF Participacoes SA group Chief Executive Officer. Jose Auriemo Neto joined the JHSF board of Executives in 2009 and currently serves as the chair. Mr. Auriemo Neto is a member of YPO where he served as an Executive Officer for two periods from 2003 to 2005. Along with the engineering degree from FAAP, Jose Auriemo Neto took a business administration course at FASE.
