Credit

Let’s be honest. We all want great credit scores. However, our credit cards can be pretty tempting when impulse shopping. This can be extremely hurtful to your credit score over time. If you can’t pay off that impulse purchase in time, your credit score will be negatively affected. The good news is that if you currently have a bad credit score, it can get better by implementing better habits. In this article, I am going to be going over some of the ways that I keep a good credit score.

  1. Pay off in time

When you are making a purchase, always be sure to know when that payment needs to be paid and know how it is going to be paid. One of the biggest problems that I see a lot of people making is that they only make the minimum payment each month. This is what credit card companies want, for they will be able to rack up the interest over time as your amount owed grows.

  1. Limit purchases

One of the best pieces of advice that I ever heard was to pay everything in cash. This way you will never have a credit problem in your life. If you want to use credit, make sure that you will be able to pay off your purchase. I would recommend using credit for small purchases like grocery money or gas money. These are fairly simple to pay off and they will still build your credit.

  1. Check your credit report

Make sure that you check your credit report every once in a while to make sure that no errors are made. This will ensure that you keep your credit in check.

If you are looking at going with a company, I would highly recommend going with GreenSky Credit. GreenSky Credit has over 12,000 active merchants ready to help you. GreenSky Credit has also funded over $1 billion in loans over the years. All in all, go with GreenSky Credit. They won’t let you down.

A financial figure that I would recommend looking up would be Sahm Adrangi. He is very knowledgeable in the financial world and there is a lot of things that you can learn from him.
